TELUS Digital, the technology arm of TELUS Corporation, has recently expanded its operations across Asia-Pacific and Latin America. This growth, announced in a press release, highlights the company's commitment to enhancing its global delivery capabilities.
New Locations and Workforce#
In the past nine months, TELUS Digital has established new locations in Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Argentina. Additionally, in India, the company has expanded its presence by adding two sites in Bengaluru and Ahmedabad, and opening a new site in Kolkata. This brings TELUS Digital's total presence in India to eight sites across six cities. Overall, the company now operates in over 35 countries and employs more than 82,000 team members worldwide.
Services Offered#
TELUS Digital specializes in customer experience services, providing support in 60 languages and more than 500 languages and dialects for artificial intelligence (AI) data labeling and model training. In Southeast Asia, the company focuses on trust and safety solutions, which include Know Your Customer (KYC) processes, anti-money laundering measures, fraud prevention, and content moderation. With this expansion, TELUS Digital adds Vietnamese, Indonesian, Thai, and Malay to its existing language capabilities.
Innovations in India and Argentina#
In India, the Bengaluru site enhances AI data solutions and machine learning initiatives through platforms like Fine-Tune Studio and Ground Truth Studio. These facilities work on projects involving image, video, and LiDAR data for technologies such as autonomous vehicles and robotics. Meanwhile, the new site in Kolkata provides omnichannel customer experience services, and the Ahmedabad location serves as a customer experience hub.
In Argentina, TELUS Digital focuses on digital engineering and enterprise AI solutions, including data strategy and analytics services. This location is strategically aligned with U.S. business hours, facilitating smoother operations for clients in North America.
