Market Overview#

On Sunday, Russian equities experienced a decline at the close of trading, with the MOEX Russia Index remaining unchanged at 0.00%. This indicates that, overall, the market did not see significant movement despite fluctuations in individual stocks.

Top Performers#

Among the stocks that performed well during the session, Surgutneftegas PJSC Pref saw a rise of 2.00%, closing at 48.12. Rosneft PJSC also gained, increasing by 1.30% to end at 507.60. Additionally, AFK Sistema PJSC rose by 1.26%, finishing at 13.50. These gains highlight that while the overall index was stable, some companies managed to attract investor interest.

Notable Declines#

In currency markets, the USD/RUB exchange rate rose by 0.75% to 80.10, while the EUR/RUB fell slightly by 0.08% to 91.45. The US Dollar Index Futures also saw an uptick of 0.61%, reaching 100.11.
