Top Gainers and Losers#

Among the notable performers, Surgutneftegas PJSC saw a rise of 1.22%, adding 0.57 points to reach 47.74. PhosAgro PJSC increased by 0.92%, gaining 67.00 points to close at 7,326.00, while Rosneft PJSC rose by 0.81%, up 4.05 points to 505.15.

On the downside, OK Rusal MKPAO experienced a slight decline of 0.21%, losing 0.10 points to trade at 44.35. Aeroflot PJSC also fell by 0.21%, down 0.11 points to 51.30, and Severstal PJSC decreased by 0.13%, shedding 1.20 points to close at 926.60. Volatility and Commodities#

The Russian Volatility Index (RVI), which indicates the expected volatility of the MOEX Russia Index options, remained steady at 21.59, marking a new 52-week low.

In the commodities market, Gold Futures for April delivery dropped by 1.25%, down 64.10 to $5,061.70 per troy ounce. In contrast, Crude Oil prices saw an increase, with April delivery rising by 3.11% to $98.71 per barrel, while the May Brent oil contract rose by 2.67% to $103.14 per barrel.

Currency Movements#

In currency trading, the Russian Ruble saw a 0.75% increase against the US Dollar, reaching 80.10, while it fell slightly against the Euro, down 0.08% to 91.45. The US Dollar Index Futures also rose by 0.61%, reaching 100.36.
