Market Overview#

Portugal's stock market experienced a positive close on Tuesday, with the PSI index increasing by 0.50%. This rise was primarily fueled by strong performances in the Utilities, Telecoms, and Technology sectors.

Top Performers#

Among the standout stocks, Galp Energia saw a notable increase of 2.32%, closing at 21.18. EDP Renovaveis followed closely with a 2.02% gain, ending at 13.64. Additionally, EDP Energias de Portugal rose by 1.58%, finishing at 4.45.

Decliners#

On the flip side, Jeronimo Martins faced a decline of 2.58%, closing at 21.88. Altri SGPS also dropped by 2.04% to end at 4.57, while CTT Correios de Portugal fell by 1.33%, closing at 6.70. Commodities and Currency Update#
