Overview of Market Performance#

Top Performers#
Among the standout stocks, Nel ASA experienced a significant increase of 15.40%, rising 0.40 points to close at 2.96. Storebrand ASA also performed well, adding 3.00% or 5.20 points to finish at 178.70. Cmb.Tech NV saw a gain of 2.74%, rising 3.40 points to close at 127.40.
Notable Declines#
On the downside, Norsk Hydro ASA was the biggest loser, dropping 1.16% or 1.20 points to trade at 102.25. Tomra Systems ASA followed closely, declining 1.11% or 1.05 points to end at 93.75. Gjensidige Forsikring ASA also saw a slight decrease of 0.46%, shedding 1.20 points to close at 259.60.
Market Breadth and Commodities#
In total, advancing stocks outnumbered declining ones, with 155 stocks rising compared to 104 that fell, while 21 remained unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities, crude oil prices for June delivery fell by 1.12% to $105.68 per barrel, while Brent oil for July delivery saw a minor decline of 0.01% to $110.43. Gold futures for June rose by 1.54%, trading at $4,631.61 per troy ounce.
In currency markets, the Euro gained 0.15% against the Norwegian Krone, reaching 10.91, while the US Dollar fell by 0.32% to 9.30. The US Dollar Index Futures also decreased by 0.84%, settling at 98.00.
