Nitro Games' Q1 Revenue Report#

Finland-based game developer Nitro Games recently announced its first-quarter revenue, which totaled 1.50 million euros. This figure fell short of analysts' expectations of 2.20 million euros and also represented a decline compared to the same period last year.

Profitability Despite Revenue Decline#

Despite the drop in revenue, Nitro Games reported a net income of 77,000 euros for the quarter. The company's earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) stood at 103,000 euros, while earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) reached 431,000 euros. Notably, both EBITDA and operating profit were slightly higher than the previous year, indicating that the company managed to maintain profitability through improved efficiency and effective cost control measures.

Management Changes and Partnerships#

During this quarter, Nitro Games also announced changes in its management team and established new partnerships. These strategic moves are aimed at enhancing the company's operations and expanding its market presence.

Future Plans#

Looking ahead, Nitro Games has plans to launch new games in collaboration with Ethereal Gaming, scheduled for release in 2026. This partnership is expected to bolster the company's portfolio and potentially improve future revenue streams.
