Macron's Commitment to Lebanon#
French President Emmanuel Macron announced on Tuesday that France will support Lebanese authorities as they prepare for negotiations with Israel. However, he clarified that France will not take part in the discussions directly.

During a news conference with Lebanon’s Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, Macron emphasized that it is not essential for France to have a seat at the negotiating table. He stated that Lebanon's interests would be best served by receiving assistance from all available sources during the negotiations.

France has a long-standing relationship with Lebanon, which has motivated its involvement in the region's diplomatic efforts. Despite this, France has encountered resistance from both Israel and the United States in its attempts to play a more direct role in the negotiations.
