On Thursday, Israeli stocks closed lower, with the TA 35 index dropping by 0.22%. This decline was largely driven by losses in key sectors, including Biomed, Real Estate, and Communication.

Notable Gainers#

On the flip side, several stocks faced significant declines. Tower Semiconductor Ltd was the biggest loser, dropping 8.86%, equating to a loss of 5,950 points, closing at 61,170. Dimri also fell by 6.40%, or 2,940 points, to finish at 42,990. NICE Ltd saw a decrease of 4.91%, losing 1,540 points and closing at 29,820.

Commodities and Currency Updates#

In currency markets, the Israeli Shekel weakened against the US Dollar, down 0.42% to 2.99, and against the Euro, down 0.34% to 3.50. The US Dollar Index Futures also saw a minor decline of 0.03% at 98.38.
