Iran's Stance on Ceasefire#

Iran has not sought a ceasefire in its ongoing conflict with Israel and the U.S., according to Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi. He stated that Tehran aims for a resolution that is lasting and prevents future conflicts.

Strait of Hormuz Access#

Araqchi clarified that the Strait of Hormuz is closed only to what he termed "enemies and those supporting their aggression." He noted that countries not involved in the conflict can still send their vessels through the strait, provided they coordinate and receive permission from Iran's armed forces.

Communication with the U.S.#

The foreign minister mentioned that there have been no communications exchanged with the U.S. He stressed the importance of concluding the war in a manner that ensures it does not recur.

Targeting Transparency#

Additionally, a spokesperson from the Iranian foreign ministry, Baghaei, indicated that the Iranian armed forces publicly announce every target they engage and clarify which targets remain untouched.
