Overview of the Market#

Notable Gainers#

Major Losers#

On the flip side, several companies faced significant losses. Aegean Airlines was the biggest loser, dropping 6.90% or 0.87 points to trade at 11.73. Ilyda SA Class R fell by 4.62%, losing 0.22 points to close at 4.65, while Intracom Holdings SA declined by 4.35%, shedding 0.15 points to finish at 3.30.

Overall, declining stocks outnumbered those that rose, with 82 stocks falling compared to 30 that gained, while 20 remained unchanged on the Athens Stock Exchange. In commodities, Gold Futures for June delivery decreased by 2.55%, settling at $4,573.84 per troy ounce. Conversely, Crude oil prices rose, with June delivery increasing by 3.81% to $100.04 per barrel, and July Brent oil up 2.70% to $104.44 per barrel. Currency exchange rates showed the EUR/USD remained stable at 1.17, while the US Dollar Index Futures rose by 0.29% to 98.60.
