Overview of the Changes#

Goldman Sachs ETF ICAV has announced that shareholders of the Goldman Sachs Paris-Aligned Climate World Equity UCITS ETF approved significant changes to the fund's investment objectives and policies during a special meeting on April 24.

New Benchmark Index#

The most notable change is the switch to a new benchmark index: the Goldman Sachs ActiveBeta Paris-Aligned World Equity Index. This change is aimed at better aligning the fund with climate-focused investment strategies. The modifications are expected to take effect around May 6, pending approval from the Central Bank of Ireland.

Shareholder Participation#

Shareholders were informed of the proposed changes on March 18, and the resolution was successfully passed during the meeting last Thursday. Goldman Sachs ETF ICAV has confirmed that no further action is required from shareholders regarding these changes.

Regulatory Compliance#

The updated details reflecting these changes will be submitted to the Central Bank of Ireland for notation before they become effective. John Whittaker, a director of Goldman Sachs ETF ICAV, signed the notice on April 27, assuring that the proposals comply with the Central Bank's guidance and regulations.
