Market Overview#
Colombia's stock market ended on a down note on Monday, with the COLCAP index falling by 0.65%. This decline was primarily driven by losses in the Financials, Investment, and Public Services sectors.
Notable Gainers#
Despite the overall downturn, some stocks managed to perform well. Mineros SA saw an increase of 1.77%, rising 260 points to close at 14,920. Promigas also gained 1.53%, adding 100 points to finish at 6,650. Banco Davivienda Pf experienced a rise of 1.43%, up 360 points to close at 25,480.
Major Losers#
On the flip side, several stocks faced significant losses. Bancolombia Pf dropped by 3.96%, losing 2,720 points to trade at 66,000. Bolsa De Valores De Colombia saw a decline of 2.51%, down 400 points to end at 15,540. Celsia SA also fell by 1.75%, shedding 100 points to close at 5,600.

In commodities, US coffee and cocoa prices saw increases, while gold futures experienced a slight decline. Currency exchange rates also showed minor fluctuations, with the USD/COP down by 0.03%.
